A beautiful region and the forest is wonderfully peaceful. Plenty of places to pause on the walking trail to just sit and listen to the quiet and some birds. Only 4 stars because the trails are getting rundown and clearly haven't been maintained recently. The longest path (currently closed) looks like it's been virtually abandoned for a long time.Still definitely worth the drive from Bridgetown :)

A lovely bushwalk, but the signage is terrible - download a map before you get there! The grade of the tracks is easy enough for little ones and my 5yo had a ball finding all of the strange fungi along the walk. The signage though...it's not just unhelpful but downright misleading. We started on what was signed as a short hike, which then somehow turned into a much, much longer walk, and came across several other groups who had found the same. Each time you reach another sign you become a bit less confident that you're going the right way - a pain when your 2-year olds' little legs aren't up to a 5km hike, but a real danger if you start (what you expect to be) a short hike in the afternoon - it gets dark fast and there's no cell reception. There are no maps available, either in paper or on the info board to take a photo of - download one before you go!

Lovely walk and I look forward to doing more sometime in the future. The flowers were out (mid October) and the aroma was intoxicating. I found the track markings did not match those on the maps so it was a little confusing.

Truly beautiful in wildflower season. I agree with other reviewers that the trails are not well set out...there are no maps anywhere other than of the region..... but the trail is was relatively well defined and easy to follow and at no time did we get lost although we had no idea where we were in relation to the car park. We did do the whole lot and it was relatively easy walking.
