Exhilarating! I wish I could make it to the top of the tree. Nevertheless, climbing till the midpoint was an achievement. Surrounded by the karri trees, this place is awesome for nature lovers.

If you visit the area, I recommend to climb this big tree. It is beautiful to see the forest from above.

I actually can't believe that we were still allowed to climb the bicentennial tree. Such an incredible experience but definitely not for the faint of heart (or knee)! It surely can't be long before they shut this down for public climbing, if it's on your bucket list, get doen here and get up there.

A great experience! We were there in winter, and the rungs are fairly easy to climb .... but they were so cold - not to be attempted without gloves on a cold and rainy day!

This was such an awesome thing to do. I climbed all the way to the top and the view was amazing. The rungs of the ladder are very secure and there is a steel net that surrounds you as you climb. There is no harnas or other form of safety measure. You must not be afraid of heights or have a health condition.

Wow that was a big climb. It’s metal rods for the first two sections then the very top is platforms and ladders (a lot easier).Please keep in mind that this climb is quite dangerous and if it’s windy, wet, or you’re not physically fit - don’t climb this thing. If none of that is the case though, it’s well worth the view!

A boys childhood dream come true for me!World's highest climbable treetop lookout. You need to have some stamina to climb it but it doesn't include anything too sketchy. You are literally just walking stairs. Its more of a mental challange if you are scared of height though. Would recommend 10\10 entrance was free when we were there unlike the Gloucester tree...
